Helpful information

Frequently Asked Questions

What is my room access code?

Your code is the Australian mobile number registered to your booking, including the first zero, followed by #. Do not include spaces.

When will my code start working?

Your code activates automatically at your agreed check-in time. It will not work before that time unless an earlier check-in has been approved.

When will my code stop working?

Your code stops automatically at your scheduled check-out time. If a late check-out has been approved, the access period will be adjusted accordingly.

Why do I press # before entering the code?

Pressing # wakes the keypad and allows the lock to connect and synchronise. Wait approximately five seconds before entering your mobile number.

Can I use the internal privacy lock while I am in the room?

Yes. It provides additional privacy while you are inside. You must release it before leaving the room, otherwise no keypad code will unlock the door from outside.

What does “Secure lock enabled” mean?

The internal privacy lock has been left activated. The keypad cannot override it, so lockout assistance is required and a fee will apply.

Why does the keypad say “Operation failed”?

The code may have been entered incorrectly, the final # may be missing, or you may be trying to access your room outside your check-in or check-out time. Wait 30 seconds and carefully try again.

Do these instructions apply to the Residence?

No. The Residence uses a separate lockbox. Residence guests receive their access instructions separately before arrival.
