Terms & Conditions
General Conditions
All bookings are subject to a minimum 2-night stay.
Long weekends are not included.
Reservations are subject to availability; dates are not guaranteed until a deposit is received.
A 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation, with any deposits paid retained according to the refund policy.
One person (The Booker) must be responsible for the full booking payment; split payments for rooms are not permitted.
No discount applies if all rooms are not used.
All standard booking terms and conditions apply. A copy of these conditions can be found on our website or requested by emailing bookings@vhvlodge.com.
Payment Terms
A 25% deposit is required to secure the reservation.
Deposits are refundable, less a 1.5% admin fee, if cancelled 61+ days before arrival.
Deposits become non-refundable 60 days before arrival.
Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival. After this date, no refunds apply.
Check-in Requirements
The Booker must complete our online check-in form and provide a copy of their photo ID.
A guest list is required prior to arrival.
A $500 security deposit will be pre-authorised on arrival to cover any damages. This will be released at checkout; banks may take up to 10 business days to process the release.
If the pre-authorisation is declined, or online check-in is not completed, guests will not receive check-in instructions.
Property Rules
The lodge reserves the right to charge for any excessive cleaning incurred by the group.
All rooms are dog-friendly; no other pets are allowed.
No parties or events are permitted without prior approval.
Events require additional liability forms for both host and vendors.
If a party or event is held without the lodge’s knowledge or consent, the lodge accepts no liability.
No smoking is permitted inside any buildings.
Check-in from 2:00pm, check-out by 10:00am unless otherwise organised.
Guest Responsibility and Behaviour
The Booker is responsible for the behaviour of all guests in their party.
Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 9:00am.
If the lodge receives a complaint from neighbours, guests may be asked to leave immediately without warning.
Cancellations
Cancellations made 61+ days before arrival will receive a full refund of the bond, less a 1.5% admin fee.
Cancellations made 60–30 days before arrival forfeit the deposit.
Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Date changes are subject to availability and at the lodge’s discretion.
If a date change is granted, the original cancellation terms still apply (e.g., a date change requested within 30 days remains non-refundable).
